| Description: |
Duties involve the design, analysis, and implementation of signal and image-processing algorithms for electro-optical sensor systems used in remote sensing and surveillance applications. Specific responsibilities will center around the design, development, and evaluation of algorithms for processing multispectral and hyperspectral imagery in the visible, reflective-infrared, and thermal-infrared spectral bands. Growth into technical management and business support roles will be encouraged, consistent with candidate's abilities and interests. |
| Requirements: |
Ph.D. degree in engineering (preferably EE) or a related scientific discipline with an understanding of modern signal and image-processing techniques and computer-based analysis of sensor data, as well as an ability to work effectively in a small team-oriented research environment. Above-average communications skills are a plus.
